Barnyard Stompers are a daring outfit from South Texas who combine the perfect mixture of Classic Country, Dirty Blues and Rock-n-Roll along with their own unapologetic style to create the rawest, roughest, rowdiest Outlaw music ever to exist. If Pop Country is the virus, Barnyard Stompers are the cure.
This amazing power duo is the first of a new generation of Outlaw Country artists who sound like no others before them. The Stompers have toured across Europe and the States several times, performing with numerous well-known international artists and have succeeded in recording three full-length records original in both material and style.
Last False Hope
Last False Hope is the brain child of former punk/hardcore vocalist Jahshie P. (Failed Resistance, Neverland). He wanted to take traditional bluegrass instruments, such as the fiddle, mandolin, and banjo, and use them to create fast, and heavy Punk and Hardcore music, while keeping the Bluegrass element very relevant. Jahsh began playing mandolin in early 2009, and acquired his wife, Kristina to play the banjo along with Arcadia Kust throwing down on the fiddle and female vocals. Soon after, Dave, Dave, Steve and Sean joined the group to complete a very diverse set of musicians! With influences from everyone from The Carter Family and Choking Victim to .357 Sting Band, Slayer, and the Misfits, Last False Hope is surely one of a kind. Last False Hope recorded one track "$2 Pints" that appears on the Outlaw Radio Compilation released in May 0f 2010. They are currently working with legendary producer Shawn Connors at Burning Cat Studios in Chicago on a 7" to be released in December of 2010. Shorty after recording, Last False Hope parted ways with Arcadia and Sean. Producer, Shawn Connors quickly stepped in on guitar giving the band a fresh breath of air coming in with 6 pre-written songs. Also, after grueling try-out sessions, Colleen Alvin was chosen to fill the vacant fiddle position! At only 21, she is now the youngest member of Last False Hope. Now, the band is concentrating on writing new material with hopes of releasing a full length in 2011.
Born to sing and bound to roam, Pearls Mahone is part hard luck crooner and part gospel firebrand. With a firm foundation in traditional church music, she truly sings with spirit. From deep roots she built her repertoire from an early age into a seamless marriage of Soul, Rock & Roll, Rockabilly, Country and Bluegrass.
In 2006, Pearls assembled the live act that has since built her a loyal following in the Midwest and many miles beyond. Backed by her One Eyed Jacks, Pearls took the rockabilly scene by storm, and a long glorious hot rod ride it was. Though the Jacks have since taken separate roads, Pearls abides from strength to strength, always backed by a lineup of top shelf musicians. Her reinvented sound evokes the classic spirit of Bob Wills and the heart of Western swing.
An annual pilgrim to such events at the Muddy Roots and Farmageddon festivals, and playing Moonrunners Music Festival for the second year in a row, Pearls will soon be pushing her horizons farther than ever with European tour dates and a brand-new full-length album! In her quest to bring the best music to the greatest people (her fans!), Pearls Mahone will never miss a chance to sing, sing, sing her heart out.
