American singer and bassist. Originally the singer in Slapstick, moved to bass in Chicago-based groups such as The Broadways, The Lawrence Arms and The Falcon (3), and eventually began a solo career as well.
Formed in Brooklyn with members originally coming from South America, MakeWar blends Gainesville/Chicago drinking anthems with Long Island emo-punk like Taking Back Sunday and Brand New. The band released their Red Scare debut, "Developing A Theory Of Integrity", in 2016 to much praise and earned themselves a spot on shows with bands like The Menzingers, The Movielife, Teenage Bottlerocket, The Falcon, and more. Jose, Edwin, and Greg love to party and sample the local beers and cuisine, so welcome this scrappy trio when they come to your town!
These three Irish lads originally come from around Belfast/Northern Ireland but they moved to Newcastle, England to get shitty jobs and form a band. The jobs did indeed turn out to be shitty, but the band turned out great! The youngsters hammered away at the songs and their rowdy music quickly drew friends and fans to the party. They sold out their first hometown show and figured it was time for a record and some touring. Good Friend offers up Gaelic folklore and nautical themes to deliver rock-influenced punk that reminds us of bands like Alkaline Trio, The Flatliners, and Millencolin. Please welcome this Irish trio on their maiden voyage as they visit America for the first time!
